That's not a traffic jam, that's a parking lot!

 

Some of you are misunderstanding the article; it just says that the slow-moving traffic could take weeks to clear out, and doesn't mean that the same drivers are stuck in there for weeks.

L.A. has what - 4M people? That's a very small town in China.

 

The city has about 4 million, the metropolitan area about 15 million.
