Did you vote on the most 4 driving dangers? H.I.D. lights place last. This country has difficulty catching up with how the rest of the world drives. I would guess that a lot of the complainers are older and can't get used to the lights. However, driving a car with these lights is a safe feeling.

I don't find HID blinding, I find headlights on raised trucks and SUV's blinding.

i have always felt that HID lights should quailify you for an insurance break, much like airbags and ABS do. Nothing makes you feel safer at night than HID lights.

Amen.

I've been high-beam flashed maybe 10 times since I've had my S2000 (almost a year) - and I believe every single one was a large pickup or SUV. Something about big trucks and stupidity that goes together? Not sure, but it irritates me when a car whose bumper is as high as the top of my windshield takes offense to my headlights.

Like most Gannett Co., Inc. holdings, USA Today (aka McNews) focuses on the advertising that surround the so-called news content.

Consider the source of this story, and let your blood pressure return to normal.
