Default Hidden cameras and tracking devices?

2 things...

1. Is there some kind of a hidden camera I can get to put in my car? Perhaps the camera sends video images to a portable (?) receiver not too far away?

2. Because laptops are one of the targets for theives on campuses, are there some kind of tracking devices I can get? ie, put a device in a laptop and I can find out where my laptop is if it ever get stolen..

This is a good indicator of what kind of a world we live in. And people wonder why I don't want to bring a child into this world.

Seks-There are portable, watch-sized tracking devices (currently sold to track kids) that are built using GPS and mobile phone technologies. This is the closest thing to what you are looking for, but it is not practical for your application because (1) It is still to big to be hidden (so a thief would simply cut if off and toss it), and (2) there is a hefty monthly subscription fee for monitoring and service.

GoMarlins-why so pessimistic on life? If the world is really so awful, we should all just agree to nuke the planet now and put ourselves out of our collective misery. The reality is that life is not so bad and often good , and while there certainly are problems (and some BIG problems), this should not dissuade us from procreating the species. Kids are not for everyone and I truly respect your choice, but not everyone buys the "this is an awful world so I don't want to bring kids into it" bit. Besides, you and I will need someone younger to push our wheelchairs and empty our washpans when we are both in our nursing homes in a few years, right?
