Default Laptop car mounts?

Need to find a good mount with tilt and swivel to mount in the S. I know cop cars have these things, but my net search has been fruitless.

lot o' reasons. GPS navigation, real-time traffic updates, wireless internet access, on the fly route planning, in car control of digital video camera, etc.

got one hell of a roadtrip coming up. think Cannon Ball Run and then double it!

You're on the right track with police/fire supply houses.

Yeah, I basically live on my laptop and just got a new monster that weighs in at just over 8 lbs. I'm basically planning on doing on the road updates of an S2000 Across America roadtrip web site. Firewire from a digital camcorder to pull down video and stills and my cellular internet to push up page updates and new images. Also going to be building daily travel maps using the GPS and MapPoint. The cellular pipe isn't big enough to push up video, but images and thumbnails will work.

Using your cell phone to upload videos and pictures will be hell.
