agreed, totally useless idea. The only one you're hurting is yourself. They won't lose a cent, unless you are planning to convert your S2000 to a hybrid. I like it, the S2000 hybrid!

Wow longest post ever above...Basically the principal of the "gas out" is flawed heavily. The oil companies don't lose anything. In preparation everyone will fill up the day before or the day after. So the oil companies still get the money...just not as consistant.

If nothing else the oil companies know about it and in preparation will cut their production which in turn will raise gas prices. If they actually do lose money they will also raise prices in order to make up their losses. Good work...They still win...we still lose.

If you can't spend a little extra money for gas, I would recommend selling your S2000 because you can't afford it.

I pay around $6.00+/gallon these days...


US gas price is on the cheaper side when you compare it with other countries..
$3.00 sounds very cheap to me tho...

Bring it on! I'd gladly pay $6.00 per gallon if it meant less OTHER cars on the road...
