It is funny how after 20 years people will go to the end of the earth for one guy, but not even give a shit about a different guy who probably did more good for the world than the popular guy.

Just sort of venting..... kind of sad.....
Yep, one of the reasons I don't care if I never see people i went to high school again.

College is another story.

Man.. I must be sounding like a broken record....

Insecure people are looking for validation, sometimes years later, from those who they feel can give it. Different sets of values. Doesn't this go hand in hand with the Ted Bundy kinda guy who's best years of his life was high school QB?

at this moment I am thinking of "Death of a Salesman" by Arthur Miller, one of the greatest American plays ever written IMO

I guess it'll be fun going to the 20 year re-union, and see where everyone's at.

thats so sad.. a lot of people can't let go of the "popular" status from high school and live their entire life based off of who they were in high school.

ya, all kinds of emails back and forth for the football player, but this poor bastard who was a great guy as well gets nothing other than me sending links to his tribute site.....no one offers to start any contributions, golf tornaments, etc.....

if i die, maybe some of you assholes could show up and make it seem like i was a little important...
Think about it this way. The nice guy who got no recognition now has a thread on here. You're making people think about it; his death gave birth to an idea.

I dunno, sometimes I get pseudo deep when I drink...

I don't think it's the drinking. It's probably the smoking.

Live a flashy life, you're gonna go out flashy.
Live a humble life, your gonna have a humble end, not a flashy one ( unless you won a Nobel peace prize)
