Sadly, I haven't had the pleasure of riding in a stook yet...
Maybe you can get Greg Stevens to give you a ride

Mingster,

Yup, not yet completely hitched, but getting close though. Got the mini ball and chain around.

i've never tried before
to explain the intensity of surfing, I've found a good way :
- average time spent in the water per surf session : 2-3 hours
- average number of waves ridden per session : 20 if it's a good day, 4 if it's a bad one
- average number of seconds a wave gets ridden : 2 to 15

so :
7seconds
X
12 waves
=
84 seconds

which means that on 180 minutes of surfing, you spend about 178 minutes waiting for the waves.
Imagine the intensity of the 2 minutes spent riding, especially considering surfing is quite often done in cold waters, under the rain, etc...
I can't quite imagine tennis players spending 95% of their matches without hitting the ball...

anyway, my hobbies? in the right order :
- work
- girls
- culture
- cats
- skate and snowboarding

If I'm lucky (and deemed worthy...), either Greg or Nick may give me a ride at Gingerman on the 29th...

I'm a freelance graphic designer / art director
which means I design logos, posters, CD sleeves, corporate identities, magazines, art books...
plus I take photos and do illustrations.

My work is 90% of my life, I never stop thinking about it, and I LOVE it!

I just miss the ocean, I wish I could surf more often
