Default Homesteading
Anyone here homestead? IE grow your own food, raise livestock, produce your own energy etc.

I've been reading threads at http://www.preparedsociety.com/ and http://zombieforum.net/ and got all these ideas but would love to hear some stories about people doing it.

I had friends in alaska that had their own dairy farm, chickens, slaughtered a pig, went moose hunting every year.

farm fresh milk is the BEST!!! Soooo good!

We don't homestead, but have a bunch of organic vegetables in the backyard. They are yummy.
