Wow, Florida's a big state with lot's to offer. You've got great beaches from Jax to Key West to Pensacola. My favorite beaches are in the Keys and around the Destin area. For girl hunting maybe Daytona, Clearwater/St. Pete, and Miami beaches. There's also lot's to do in central Florida if you like the Disney/SeaWorld/Universal type of thing.

My suggestion, bring a date along for the week. When I was single I took trips alone several times and several times I took girls that I might not have otherwise dated. I usually had a lot more fun with someone to share the fun with.

Thanks CG, I will keep that in mind. As of now, I am leaning towards the Keys. I would love to bring a date with me but I have sacrificed my "social life" since I moved to this city to focus on my sales career (I really want to get into medical sales asap).

The Keys really are great. Key West is a great place to spend a day but it's to busy for me to really enjoy. Also I'm not sure it would be the best place for a single "straight" guy to vacation. I like the middle keys the best but I'm not sure they would do much for your love life. The keys are a lot of fun.

lol... that's the most important information yet. A big thank you for the warning. Maybe I should consider the Miami Beach area and visit the keys for a day or two.

Don't let the gay guys scare you away from the Keys, there are plenty of straight people down there also. You also might want to keep in mind that many Gay guys have very nice and good looking straight female friends that they can introduce you to. Besides the more gay guys there are in town the better the straight guys look to the straight girls. That said, Key West is the only place I've ever been that I got hit on alot by guys even though my wife was with me. I'm not homophobic but after half a day of it I was getting pretty uncomfortable. That was several years ago and I've only been back one time since then and I'm pleased to say that I didn't it hit on a single time. Maybe the first trip was a fluke.

Stay at the Villas on Disney property. It's excellent if you're taking your car down because you'll have a car port. Clean, safe, walking distance to downtown Disney. They have an excellent gym/health club right there (always important to me) and you're right there to golf. Oh yeah there's Disneyworld too.
