Basically it looks the same and NO it is not just a different engine and tranny.

A partial list of differences between HF and Si:
less sound insulation- for less weight
2.5 mph bumpers and not 5 mph- for less weight
very plain (read uncomfortable not supportive) seats- for less weight
no sunroof- for less weight
no A/C- for less weight
13" tires/wheels not 14" tires/wheels- for less weight
no rear luggage compartment cover- for less weight
obvious smaller engine/lighter tranny- for less weight
doors without seatbelts built in- for less weight

Oh I probably forgot a dozen things or so but this will give you an idea. There were lots of little differences to shave off several hundred pounds so as to increase the gas mileage.

For a picture, depending what you want it for, search www.cars.com and see what is out there in the used sector.

That was/is my plan. I found one no rust runs fine 130,000 miles starts right up for about $1,500. I need a beater project car. The Eclipse is partially sold (deposit) just waiting for the rest of the money. Saab is for the fiancee since she drives to work and I take mass transit. S2000 will hibernate in the winter. Can't decide between doing a Galant VR4 ($2000, blown engine car is fine otherwise) project or a CRX.
