Honda CRX HF
Basically it looks the same and NO it is not just a different engine and tranny.
A partial list of differences between HF and Si:
less sound insulation- for less weight
2.5 mph bumpers and not 5 mph- for less weight
very plain (read uncomfortable not supportive) seats- for less weight
no sunroof- for less weight
no A/C- for less weight
13" tires/wheels not 14" tires/wheels- for less weight
no rear luggage compartment cover- for less weight
obvious smaller engine/lighter tranny- for less weight
doors without seatbelts built in- for less weight
Oh I probably forgot a dozen things or so but this will give you an idea. There were lots of little differences to shave off several hundred pounds so as to increase the gas mileage.
