integra engine swapping
If you don't have the money for a R swap, the plain GSR swap will be fine, and you can always add the other R parts later (cams, intake/exhaust manifold, p/p, etc) Anyway, the type Rmotor is basically a massaged GSR.
I forget which motor is in the RS model, but there's also a heck of alot of things to do to most of the Honda motors. If you look at most of the import drag racers, many of them are using b16 motors. if you have the 1.8 non vtec, many people are just replacing the head with either a GSR or ITR head (Frankenstien swap). If you go that route, make sure you run all of the correct oil lines for vtec!
One last option is the prelude swap, either vtec or not. It is heavier motor, but alot more torque. There's also a bunch more pounding to do.
Any way you go, be sure you do it right. Theres no substitution for quality. If you don't know what your doing, take it to someone who does, and remember that you get what you pay for. I hope this helped, and good luck.
