I was with a friend yesterday driving to lunch here in chicago, and we were at a light behind a hideous Eclipse with a coffee can sticking out of its rear and a giant unfortunate whale-tail bolted to it.

On the top of the back trunk edge was a "VTEC" sticker, big and white in the same font that is used for Honda products....

What is this guy thinking???

I'm hoping to find it parked in town and get a pic for all to enjoy.

A lot of Jeep Grand Cherokees have big honkin' V8's under the hood, and come standard with massive exhaust pipes. And they sound pretty nice, too, when they're making 7 mpg (-;

My favorite one is still a Civic del Sol driven by a gray-haired gentleman. On the back left of the car was a 230 SLK badge. Go figure.

Lako, I have seen that Eclipse that you are talking about. I was at lunch with a friend one day this summer and we both saw it. We were both amazed...and I was KICKING myself because I didn't have my camera with me.

The guy worked as a delivery driver at a place next to where we were eating...
