Yeah, he was fine on flats until he hit the dirt bike tracks. He didn't make it over a little hill.

As for height, you should be alright too.

Unless you do your own fabrication and wiring, you'll be spending a lot of money on this thing. I've spent over $10,000 on mine.

If you really are interested in this, I can direct you to the right people for sure.

Fun to tinker and mess around with, but slow as poop. I'm about 5'5 and 150 right now, but when I had it I was around 140. I never went to any meets and I didn't have any friends that had a ruckus, so it got pretty boring. If you wanna make it faster you can always get a GY6 swap, which makes it 150cc, then you can add mods to that.

It's kind of one of those hobbies, if your friends are doing it then its fun and exciting. But if your the only kid on the block, then its pretty lame.

see it just looks soo cool and simple u know i like how it looks. nice ruckus. )

Np and I agree. First thing you'd want to do is the swap and would also recommend you upgrading the front brakes right away.

Where are you located? You should look into used ones since you're swapping all you really need is the front end of the Ruckus and a legit VIN # and title. Also, you should look into modded ones for sale because they sell for way less than what's invested.

This was my Ruckus back in the days. Man I miss the good ol' days...

where i live, everyone has scooters (i would venture a guess of # of cars and # of scooters being equal). i'm not familiar w/those models or what you'll use it for...but let me tell you, a 50cc scooter is most definitely slow as shit, and this is coming from someone who weighs 130 lbs. i have a 125cc which is about perfect for me. for normal street use you should prob have at least a 150cc.

How about a Big Ruckus? 250cc's should be enough to move you up hills quickly.
