I mean this in a purely factual way, no commentary on your size, but...

...that thing is going to be slow as fuck with you on it.

They do motor swaps though...

Why would you buy something like that knowing going into it that it is not adequate for the purpose you have in mind? Are you aware that many companies, Honda included, actually make scooters that aren't so anemic?

Knock yourself out, though.

I have a Honda spree and a mini trail. Both are 50cc and stock. I am 6 foot 4 and weigh 245. Both cruise easily at 30 and can hit 40 down hill. Keep in mind one is almost 20 years old and the other 30.

Your Ruckus should easily outrun both. I have considered getting one myself. My friend had one and could rock quarter mile wheelies all day. Lots of fun.

But check out a CR50.

I used to have a ruckus, it was actually pretty fun.

Fun to tinker and mess around with, but slow as poop. I'm about 5'5 and 150 right now, but when I had it I was around 140. I never went to any meets and I didn't have any friends that had a ruckus, so it got pretty boring. If you wanna make it faster you can always get a GY6 swap, which makes it 150cc, then you can add mods to that.

It's kind of one of those hobbies, if your friends are doing it then its fun and exciting. But if your the only kid on the block, then its pretty lame.

For that kind of weight, you will need a 150cc GY6. You can even do a big bore on it, it will definitely pull you. I've seen heavier people on a 150cc and they were fine.

As for height, you should be alright too.

Unless you do your own fabrication and wiring, you'll be spending a lot of money on this thing. I've spent over $10,000 on mine.

If you really are interested in this, I can direct you to the right people for sure.

I saw Big Black riding one on a episode of Rob and Big... and he's 400+ pounds.
