Btw, I don't like Indy. It's like Nascar but with the F1 cars. Same boring stuff! Go round and round and round for hours.

Chevy is the only American motor still running at indy and they haven't been competitive for years. Honda had owned it since they dove in until two years ago when Toyota got serious. Last year the Toyota boys kicked our butts consistently, and in 2004 Honda returned with a purpose.
So far, so good. All the points leaders are running Honda motors.
Our own F20c is a derivation of the Indy motor. (half of it, anyway) Our obscene-redlining little brute was race tested on the oval at Indy.
Go Honda!

I don't know much about Indy, but I thought Honda and Toyota just joined last year, while leaving CART? I thought it was primarily Chevy, Ford, etc., basically a domestic auto sport until Honda and Toyota joined last year.

You are correct... I was thinking of open wheeled racing in general. As far as the IRL is concerned, the Americans were in control until CART's demise and the recent Japanese invasion.
