I think it is called a "gentlemens C" ... which means they just push you through giving you a C..... so he actually average probably would have been much lower if they didn't just push him through and collect their annual tuition.

Sheesh, it's just an honorary degree for giving a commencement speech. . . everyone gets one when they do that.

Close, keep trying. Some of Carter's cabinet were ex-Trotskyists too; they renounced their ideals and came around to Straussism.
