bad part about louisiana isnt the heat, its the humidity, you step outside its like a frickin sauna, its absolutly miserable here
Louisiana is one of my favorite places in the country, but I absolutely refuse to go there between May and September- it is unbearable. Even living in the Ohio River Valley was awful. It would be between 90-105 every day from June-august, with 90% humidity. Now that I've moved to California, I don't think I could ever go back- it is usually about 77 degrees, but never hotter than 87 or so, with no humidity. And if 87 is too hot for you, hop in the car for 30 minutes and enjoy 60 degrees at the beach. I couldn't believe it til I experienced it for myself. There can easily be a 30-40 degree difference just over a 20-30 minute drive.
my summer is screwed up it didn't take me long to get used to the heat when i was constantly working in the shop, this year i've been working in the logistics office and am quite comfortable in there, but when one of my mechanics is out and equipment needs to be ran out and inspected for a job i go out and do it or help my other mechanic with it...after spending the day in the office and having to go in the shop or the sun i sweat like a hooker in church. i wish i could work in the shop but get paid what im making in the office

Its almost 100 here today. Over the course of my life in Minnesota I think I have experienced 108 degrees for a high and 50 degrees below zero (air temp) for a low. Add the windchill that day and your nuts freeze and crack off in under five seconds.
