Here's a little short story (or poem) I've found of pet ownership. PLEASE READ! Make sure you're alone because for some, tears will flow down your cheeks as it is very emotional.

Don't let its seemingly long appearance deter you from reading it. It only takes a few minutes, but very worth it. Read every word! It's nice!

Very good.

And they're supposed to be the "animals".

People suck.

Get over it?!!!! Our consciousness is what is supposed to separate us from instinct driven animals.

Crusoe...you are the representation of what our civility has dwindled down to. "Worry about me first, and all else last."

For the most part, adults humans have control over choices and situations. Pets unfortunately do not. They are fed when we feed them. They are loved when we attend to them. They cower when we scare them.

Those people you'd rather worry about, remember, they are where they are, for the most part, because they chose what they chose.

Luder, don't get too worked up, I think he's just trolling, he only joined a few days ago. Whether you believe in the author's point of view or not, it was a very moving piece. Crusoe, try having some class if you're going to hang out here or don't expect anyone to take you seriuosly. Thanks for sharing purple_sky.
