Don't be so mad, Quik. I think he was not thinking deeply into it, and has no personal experience with a pet.

Yeah....definately not thinking with his brain. Sorry, but that stuff pisses me off. I used to work in an animal shelter and all of us felt the same. When it came time to put an animal down we would shuffle them from shelter to shelter just to try to give them time.

Now imagine looking into that face and knowing you have to kill him because his owners dont want him anymore That's my baby that's 16+ yrs old now and is living his life to the fullest. In a happy home!!!

How could you hate a face like this?

Found her on the side of the road (the brown one) about a six months ago and love her to death.

Sappy internet trash. I love animals more than the next guy, but that was ing retarded!

The underlined parts make it even funnier, as if Chris Farley as the motivational speaker wrote it.

i had to go hug my dog.. and had a tear. I usually play with my dog but lately, because of work, i leave the house at 8, and like today, didn't return until 9:30. She bounced to the door greeting me, wanting to play. instead, i took her out, left her in the rain, for a few minutes, and brought her back in. Got on the computer and ignored her.

She sits by my desk, looking at me. every time i look at her, she thumps her tail. So sad.

Is it just me, or do non-american's care less about dogs than american's do? I noticed the two negative posts about the poems came from UK and RU? What is up with that?

I guess in other countries, it is ok to be mean, cruel, and be a total ASS about things...

Crusoe, get a life. Loving a pet is different from ignoring starving people from Africa. I would take your comment more seriously if i can actually believe that you have done something for those starving people. If you haven't, Shut the FU@K UP.

Where exactly in this world would you move that you might enjoy the freedoms that you enjoy here. I'm from a "mixed" background and have had the opportunity to travel overseas and thank my lucky stars every morning that I wake and find myself in this country.

The simple fact that you are posting your thoughts freely on an internet forum ought to remind you of what freedoms we enjoy here. Don't be so arrogant to imply that people from other nations do not hold "bullshit opinions." Good luck traveling the world in search of that country where everyone thinks like yourself

You've got to be kidding me man. Have you heard of Canada? Or the UK? Or Australia? Or Japan? Or just about a million other frickin places?

Exactly how is it irrelevant when you clearly state in your last sentence that, "people like you make me want to move, very badly." Your whole post wreaks of "i hate the US" but don't mind enjoying the freedom while i'm here bullshit.

Out of those countries that you mentioned try to travel as freely as we do here state to state. How much harder is it to obtain a drivers license as a foreigner?

The only one looking down there nose is you my friend. Here is a quote from your own post:
"Maybe it's because she doesn't jump to bullshit conclusions (or conform to typical American mindsets)" or how about "I live in America. But people like you make me want to move, very badly."

Here is a sample of the BS that I hear all the time.... " blah blah blah blah... americans are not as sophisticated as the rest of the world... blah blah blah blah... typical american mindset.. blah blah blah blah..

If we are so simple minded then why is it that there is always someone like you that opens there mouth with these critiques yet in their own speech or writing makes it clear that they too are 1. making generalizations 2. looking down there nose 3. displaying their obvious inferiority complex 4. jumping to bs conclusions 5. displaying their arrogance.

Congratulations your entire post embodied all those things you criticized
