Default How do I open .WMV in OSX Panther?

I'm sure I can just download windows media player, but isn't there a way for the movie to just show in my browser? Stupid G5!

Also, how do I save quicktime movies I've watched to view quickly later? On my old Mac, I went into "temporary files." How do I do it here?

Thnx!!!

first if you don't like it, i'd be pretty happy to take the G5 from you.

2nd, the only way to watch .wmv is pretty much to download Windows Media Player. VLC doesn't support .wmv.

what kind of quicktime movies? right click, download linked file as?

I actually love the G5...

I'm talking about the kind of QT movies that don't allow you to "right click" or option-click to save.

If the movie is in Safari, just go to File->Save as... and save it. If its buried in a page, you'll need to isolate it in Safari first, then save as above.
