how do you save .asf files?

instead of make the media player play it as "streaming" media...
is there anyway i can save it into the disc?

If it's just a hyperlink, right click on the link, then choose "Save Target as...". If it's not a link, you'll need to dig for the exact URL of the file, then create a dummy web page with the URL as a hyperlink to perform the above operation.

hmm...
the source one of the files that i want to download is...

mms://wmt1.chosun.com/entertainment/LiveShop/dizzotv/specialtv/010321wax_ha_ji_won.asf

the original site that i found this file has it as "embedded", which mean it does not have hyperlink...
now, i tried making dummy web page, but it keeps telling me that the browser cannot find the file.
i tried "http://..." instead of "mms://...", but still not working.

if i type in the add into widows media player however, it works...

Run the streaming movie, then copy it from the temporary internet files subfolder under your local settings folder.
