geminiS2,
I recently bought 4 snow tires off of ebay from a gentleman in Ohio. He mentioned in the auction that he didn't want to ship, but when I talked to him on the phone I offered to set up the shipping myself & he agreed. What I did was called UPS and gave them the ship time, weight (44lbs-front, 45 lbs-rear), dimensions, and they actually broke it down into two separate shipments cause the 4 tires together exceeded their max shipping size. I had the seller duct tape the tires (two packages...fronts taped together, rears taped together) with a piece of cardboard inbetween the tires & on each end. I think the total for shipping was just under $100, but I didn't mind paying that since I got all four tires/rims for $600. I also setup COD (Cash on Delivery) through the UPS which worked out great and factored into that $100 total in shipping costs. It took a little explaining since I wasn't actually shipping the tires...I was receiving, but the UPS have some smart people there so they firgured it out.
So you should be able to tape the tires together with cardboard pieces separating them on either end, call up UPS to schedule a pick up and off they go! PM me if you need any more info. Hope this helps.

you are shipping something that you have not even sold?you are too far getting ahead of yourself, slow down! first, try to sell them locally and you and/or the buyer save the shipping costs. I was looking for wheels to mount snows earlier, but not now. might even still be interested. pm.

I sold my stock wheels/tires on ebay when I upgraded to 18's. They was very easy to ship. Just cut some round circles out of cardboard and insert between two wheels and one on either end. Tape it real good with shipping tape, and call UPS. They will come and pick it up for you!

get cardboard, cut them in circles, and double or triple up on each wheel surface, and lots of tape, and you'll be fine.
