Used computers make great boat anchors.

 

But what do used boats become?

 

Computer stores.

 

I have a network. When I replace a computer I just leave it on my network and use it to run peripheral devices / and or store stuff on it.

 

Depends on how old......is it worth rebuilding??

 

I must have the slowest computer on S2ki.com... I'm running 200 mhz, 32 mb ram, 4 gb harddrive... But at least I have a cable modem!

Good suggestions, all, but if you think getting rid of an old computer is hard, how do you get rid on an old trash can?

You a*parent*ly don't have children. Kids are great dumping grounds! Mine have inherited computers, old cars, old clothes, shoes, etc., etc., etc......

I'm always telling JAGlady about a new "need" the kids have so I can upgrade!!
