there's this rat poison that kills rats by dehydrating them, depriving them of potasium. then rats look for a water source and jump in the toilet. it's weird stuff. don't know what it's called.

Or if you wanna kill two birds with one stone. Capture it, pretend it's a hamster and stick it in the tunnel of love. Have some fun with it. HAHA

There are plenty of humane traps on the market, you can take him into the countryside and let him go, or alternatively drop him in your bosses office and watch the fun.

5 gallon bucket with 2 1/2 gallons of water in it, a tin can, a rod of some sort, a plank of wood, and a few spoonfuls of peanut butter.

Remove both ends of the tin can, stick the rod through it, and suspend it over the bucket of water. Smear some peanut butter on the can, and arrange some wood to make a nice ramp leading to the bucket. It should end 3-4 inches from the PB smeared can. The mouse (or rat) will valiantly try to get at the PB, eventually stepping on it. It will spin, dropping the mouse in the water, where it will drown. For a 'humane' version, leave out the water....

nooo dont kill the mice!! be humane, it was your fault that they got in in the 1st place, use a nonlethal device like a cage trap

Oh my....

Humane? Let me tell you something... when two of these things get loose in your cabinets and you find mouse crap all in your pots and pans and dishes and silverware and they've eaten through into your bread laying on your counter... there is only one thing to do! Kill the little bastas**!

I love the traps with the plastic cheese. Put a glob of peanut butter on the plastic cheese close to the hinge so the mouse has to climb up on the cheese to get it. After the trap is set, tap the cheese so that you have a hair trigger to where breathing on it will set it off. Then sit back and watch it work.

I have one trap that has at least 10 kills. My fastest kill was within 5 minutes of setting a trap. Catch and release them and they will just move back in.
