that happen before in my house too

mom and I try to solve the problem by ourselves.

we buy the poison from Home Depoit and the the sticky thing.

we have kill 2...but unable to kill the last one....

(very nasty!! )

finally we have to find professional to do that.
it is too much harsh to do it but ourselves.

I suggest find a professional to do that from yellow page.
they are not that expensive...but still.....

I hate that happen.

good luck.

I'd stay away from poisons as death is not instant. The little buggers crawl away to some place you can't get them. They then die and start decaying. You can imagine the stinge that ensues for the next two weeks.

DEFINITELY the cat is the best answer. Mine's great - she'll catch a mouse unharmed and bring it to us, dropping it at our feet scared but unharmed.
We catch the mouse and let it go somewhere else (easy as we live at the edge of a forest).

The mouse is fine, Kitty the cat has some fun and we don't have rodent problems - everyone's a winner !!

Get some flour and mix it with some cement. A few ours after the mice eat the flour the cemetn will solidify in their gut and they will die a slow agonising death.

I had a mouse in my house. I called the exterminator and he used some poison pellets and the sticky traps. The mouse got stuck in one of the traps, but was able to tear free from it. There was mouse hair all over that trap. Must've hurt to lose that much fur. He ate the poison too. It was the kind that S2R described. It doesn't allow them to absorb water and dehydrates them. Never saw that mouse again.

I just discovered a RAT in my apartment last night!!! He started screwing with some bags in my kitchen, so I cornered him and tricked him into getting on a glue trap. The glue trap was old, though, and he got away. So I'm on my way to the hardware store now to set a lethal trap:

I'm going to put a paper bag on its side near the rat's point of entry (the bottom of the stove). The bag will have multiple rat traps (wire snapper kind) covered in poisoned bread and peanut butter (be sure to butter both sides of the bread so the bastards can't drag it off).

I'll let you know how it works.

Also, as usual, there is a website devoted to the topic: http://www.ratkill.com/main.html

Normally, I'd never look at such a sight. After last night, I find the hunting and killing of rats extremely entertaining. Bwahahahaha!

BTW, my roommate named our rat "Osama." Operation Enduring Freedom begins in a mere two hours!!!!! I can't wait.
