I spell it . (Just kidding)

I use grey for organic things (my friend's cats are grey) and gray for inanimate things (He bought a gray sweater).

Why? Dunno. I just like the way it looks that way.

i spell it gray. i have heard that people in england prefer spelling it as "grey".

I spell it grey; it's just generally considered a more proper term. But sometimes I spell it gay, as in "that is a gay sweater."
