hey i'm 5'6 and wished i was taller--back in high school--i used to stuff my riding boots with a sock since i would normally wear heels--but since the riding boots didn't make me taller i did that--it made me feel taller--LOL--

they're even more hilarious in person... those socks were folded to double the effect

Looks like the shoes were too wide for him, and he compensated by adding to the sole. I have narrow feet too, and though I haven't done it with socks, I have added to the soles of my shoes to plant my foot in the shoe better.

Poor guy! I do hope he pays you back soon though...
