Question how easy is it to refund items with a credit card

So the drama goes on, I finalyl get a request for payment but no email replies form the seller. I pay on paypal but with a credit card. I normally pay with cash instant but I dont trust this guy at all. He did not reply to any of my emails and jsut sent me a payment email. Its been 3 days now and again no replies if he has shipped or not. I got his contact info and adress: So I gave hima c all tonight and told him I needed to know if he has shipped sinc eI'm expecting this controller by the weekend since he lives jsut one state down from me.

My question now is: in case he doesnt ship hwo easy is it to get a refund with a credit card, *MBNA master card.

Again this guy has been on ebay since 2002 with 100% feedback so this is weird. I have sent him 10 emails and no replies ever since I won the item. the only thign I got was a payment email.

I just won a paypal case for a s2000 toy which a seller never shipped me and I won. I could win this one but just in case I paid with a CC.

thanks

You should be able to get a chargeback issued to Paypal on your credit card. But that will really piss them off and they will probably cancel your Paypal account. You should use the Paypal dispute resolution process first. And then use the credit card dispute as a last resort.

I NEVER EVER EVER use Paypal from any other funding source other than my AmEx Blue card. AmEx is EXCELLENT at protecting the buyer and issuing chargebacks. You should always use some credit card to fund your Paypal transactions

About 4 years ago, I bought a set of wheels, which I paid for with Paypal. The wheels never showed up, and gthe seller was unresponsive. So I disputed with Paypal to get my money refunded. Paypal found in my favor but gave me no money back because the seller had already emptied his account. Then I disputed with AmEx, using the Paypal response in my favor as evidence, and Amex refunded my money within 24hrs. Paypal sent me a nasty email saying that they had been charged back by Amex. They threatened to ban me from Paypal if I ever did it again - which certainly would if the situation ever arose again.
