I never thought there was an inconsistency in the dipsticks, but I did suggest they might be manufactured incorrectly.. either that or the specs are wrong. Every car seems to come from the factory with the oil level exactly at the H mark, but it takes ~5.5 quarts to get it to that point, not the 5.1 the specs say.

Triple X is as far as we go here in Utah......we're a conservative state! I think they have the length under control (ever heard of SPC?) but once again CD has a point there appears to be an error in the fill volumes noted in the manuals.

I think I found the problem after looking at the pictures......your measuring "nuts up". Can't do that! Kinda like measuring the front of wave if your a surfer......gotta measure the height from the back...all surfers know this (ROFLMAO)......(AGAIN).
