After seeing Barry's smiling, bearded face in the picture he recently posted in another thread, and seeing pictures of Rick working his leather magic, I wondered how many other S2000 owners have beards?

I don't mean this week I've got a beard, next week I don't, but real beards that are a permanent part of you.

I've had my beard since 1972, never shaved it since.

Anyone else have a permanent beard or at least tend to favor one most of the time?

(Sorry Sondra, Shelley et al, no discrimination here, just biological fact!)

When I let it go awhile, they call me the bearded lady! I've since then tried to stay on top of that problem a little better...

I, uh......won't get into that one, Sondra.
hehe

Not an owner, but I do have a goatee. Guess that doesn't count.

Man I can barely grow a mustache. The only facial hair for me is my sideburns...I would love to grow beard or goatie...Oh well...

I started growing my first beard the day I graduated from high school (facial hair was prohibited then). I'm very fair and my hair use to be much more blonde. I had to use my mother's mascara to darken the mustache so it could be seen. Then I discovered mustache wax and used that.

At first I could only grow a pathetic moustache and a scraggly goatee. Then I grew my sideburns longer and longer until it turned into muttonchops (one of several popular facial hair combinations in the early 70's). It finally all turned into a beard and I haven't shaved since.

If you haven't shaved since 1972, how come your beard doesn't drag the ground?

Did you hear about Gloria Vanderbilt? If she has one more facelift she's going to have a goatee.

Shaving is when you take a razor and scrape it across your face (or if you're a wimp, you use an electric razor ). So I've never shaved my beard. I have trimmed it though!

Tom, I couldn't see how you could wear the beard for that long since '72. Holy cow...Don't you get tired of maintaining it? Your lady doesn't mind? Probably not if you have it that long...Wow!!!
