the house has tile everywhere its still a bitch to keep the house clean.

1 bird and a big ass salt water fish tank.

 

I have a dog and keep him indoors.we have coyotes running around our place at night.

 

1 Dog- border collie- we keep him outside only though.

Down to 1 cat

I would like a dog, but don't have the time to take care of it properly

 

We have three horses, two dogs, three cats, and one rabbit.

The horses - two Polish Arabians and one Kellogg Arabian - stay outside.

The dogs - one Jack Russell terrier and one rough collie - stay outside except at night and during inclement weather.

The cats - one Pixie Bob and two of unknown ancestry (one tuxedo and one gray tabby) - stay inside.

The rabbit - an American Fuzzy Lop - stays inside.

The dynamics are interesting. When the Jack Russell is inside she's in the cats' domain and they lord it over her. If the cats get outside they're in her realm and she rules over them. When the rabbit is hopping about the house the cats think he's in their domain and try to dominate him; he ignores them and they don't understand that.
