while the idea of equal treatment is nice in theory, it doesnt work in reality. for this case, women themselves dont want the number to be high. men do. it's genetics/evolution. most women want to have the freedom to do as many guys as they want, but dont actually want to do lots of guys. so while you are arguing for equality, you're not doing women any favors.

 

maybe i'm different but i don't much care who she was with prior, as long as i have her exclusively during the time she's with me, that's all that matters. if she's double or triple dippin' then i would be offended, and then she becomes the slut. however, she could've been with a hundred guys before, but as long as she's clean (go take her to donate blood at the same time, they'll screen for free and it's a good deed) and she's exclusive i don't think you should mind.

you know, it's like anything else in life. The scale is very broad. There a lot of people with different types of lifestyles, and thinking to go with it. the fact that you are concerned about it, and you haven't been a slut yourself, she's not for you. Enjoy it while it lasts, like everyone said. She should be well experienced in bed, and make her prove it.

I've never met/heard of a girl that had that many partners by age 17.

Save yourself a lot of drama, get the **** out of there.

I think the number depends a lot on the guy's age and experience. If you are a 22 year old virgin, more than 1 or 2 is probably too much for you. If you are a 25 year old guy who's had sex with 10 girls, it's a little hypocritical to get pissed if your girl friend had 3-5 long term partners.

Anytime a girl dates a guy for an extended period of time I think it's ok, but the odds of even the finest girl being truly serious with more than a guy per year is a little bullshit to me.

For the record, I have not and probably will not -date- a girl who's smashed more than one other guy. I've been around the block and any girl that's "got around" is usually nothing but problems and emotional baggage.

 

Have these conversations with women about how many partners they've had ever ended successfully?
