Default How many hours do you actually work?

Seeing how so many are posting during "business hours", just wondering how many actual hours do you work in a day?

Myself...I work 8-5 but actually "work" maybe 1-2 hours.

On some very rare ocasions, I work 4 or 5 hours of the 8 hour work day, but that's extremely rare

Most days it's lucky if i work 1-2 hours if that.

It's horrible, horrible I know!!

Often 12 hours or more. Sometimes I work every day of the week. Other times I have a few days off (but not very often). Fortunately I can space my work out and have a break when I choose so for the most part it's manageable.

depends on the day and workload, I've done around 15 minutes of work in my 8 hour workday today.

I work for a publishing house that puts out 6 different magazines, so the workload each day varies depending on what magazine is due next. There are a few days each month where I have absolutely nothing to do, while there are others where 3 of the magazines will run at the same time and then I can work a 12 hour day. Generally speaking though, I bounce back and forth between InDesign layouts and the internet.

I used to work ~3-4 hours a day. Show up 30 minutes late, take 30 minutes extra for lunch, and leave 20-60 minutes early. Unfortunately now I work all 8 out of 8 and I can't tell you how much it SUX!
