1000 sit- ups a day, before going to bed.

I do 1. Only because I have to sit up when I wake up and get out of bed. Boy, am I sad.

I do them in the morning, about 400, then feel like hurling..have a shower and go to work..

I would say that if you can do 1,000, you are doing the wrong kind of situps... Maybe try something harder and do a few hundred...

then again...
i've done 340 so far and already sweating like a dog in heat.
perhaps i should lower my goal down to 500.

get a slant board and do about half as many on that. Your abs will get RIPPED.

Whats a slant board? I have always heard that situps/crunches won't actually give you a washboard. I thought that because it built the muscles up it doesn't have that result?

yup, cardio, diet, and sit-ups are needed to get a stomach. You need to lose the fat. I use to have a six-pack back in college, now I have a keg. So sad.
