I have been pulled over for speeding 10 times.....8 tickets in 14 years!! Worst ticket was actually the coolest cop I have ever ran into...I had just gotten my 02 Max. with 255hp and I passed a copy who was merging behind me. I was going 80 in a 55 when he got behind me, I then proceeded to put the pedal down and dust Atlanta's finest! I had no idea he was behind me...I approached 130 and the speed limit dropped to 45 so I decided to back off...climb back down to 70 mph and I see this small blue light about 300 yards behind me. I just went ahead and pulled over. It was 7am, I was hungover from a wedding and I had bed head. He asked me why I was going so fast and all I could say was that I was a "dumb ass". I think he liked my honesty and gave me an 80 in a 55. I almost kissed the guy! Best $250 I ever spent. Sorry for the long post.

Haven't gotten a ticket yet thank god. My eyes are glued to the rear view. I don't speed much, but being 18 and usually having all my friends in the car is just asking to get pulled over by the cops around here.

29 years old. Driving for 12 years now:

I can't remember exactly, but it is around 11.

Zero in the S (so far, knock on wood.) Just rolled over 4000mi tonight.

 

i got a speeding ticket back in july but it wasnt my fault, it got knocked down to "defective equipment". 40 dollar fine with no points .


btw this was not in my car, the car was going to the body shop and the whole cluster was pulled out. i had no way of telling how fast i was going!

 

From having the s2k for about 2 3/4 years and 4 1/2 years of driving, I have gotten 0 tickets. The worst I've had was two parking tickets. One was from being lazy to get a permit from high school , and one was a girl's fault...
