27, no college education, well never graduated, own 2 coin-op laundromats, both bring in a total of 144,000-148,000 per year. Wifey owns a nail and spa that brings in a little under 140,000 per year.
(I type this while I slave away for me degree)
I feel as if I don't make enough compared to the rest of you, but I try not to let it bother me. I will be re-attending school next fall and majoring in Finance (Basically a bullshit degree that gets you paid).

You don't know what mediocrity is. I don't want to
all over your aspirations (hell, the CEO of my company said he wanted to be a CEO of computer company at 16), but,
1. If I had a nickel for every kid in the valley that wanted to be an Executive, I'd have my home paid for.
2. If I had a nickel for every JVP/Sr. Director/etc. that wanted to be ANY executive at a start-up, I'd have about $5. . . nobody wants the job. . . by the time the engineers and VCs who started the company ask for the leadership, you've got the wife, the kids, the home, and you don't want to risk it trying to get that next round of funding.
3. I've had the unfortunate privilege to work for quite a few deliberately ambitious types (across two careers now), and they are, 99 days out of 100, the WORST team builders and consensus makers I know. They're often presumptuous (hence the flack you're getting here), and haven't a clue about how to get buy-in, and how to effectively motivate people.
In all honesty, best of luck to you. I post that Despair poster early and often. In business, jerks often always get what they want. . . while almost invariably overlooking what they need.

The information by itself doesn't exactly tell you anything unless you plan on drawing from some huge sample.
Even then, while I'm no statistician, I'd consider this sample (anything from S2ki.com) pretty skewed, and not a terribly wide sampling by any means.

You got to take into consideration that 99% of the replies on here are from males, so what they state that they make...Is probably 30-40% higher then what they really make

Having said that....money isn't everything. Chicks and S2's on the other hand......
