The ice was a pain. It took me over an hour to scrape it off my wife's car on Tuesday. I can't wait until we get our new house with the 3 car garage built this summer.

did you try scraping the ice without turning on your car? it should only take 30min max, including the time to let your car warm up.
Cars don't exactly warm up real quick idling when it's 14 F outside.I would love to have seen you remove 3/4 inch thick ice from the windshield, rear window, and side windows in less than half an hour without damaging the car. This wasn't snow, it was ice.
