How will the new 350Z compare to our S2K????
Coming out next July is Nissan's new 350Z car, selling at under $30,000, will be a competitor in the S2000 market. Thus far we know that at least one model of the 350Z will have 300 hp, but will most likely weigh more than the S2000. Do you think our cars' performance will be able to hold the new competition?
Personally, I dunno, but I'm leaning toward Nissan as they have done alot of R&D on this one.

Though some people don't like the styling, I think it looks pretty good & Nissan will definitely sell a lot of them. . .
Think about it, die-hard "Z" fans will be lining up to buy one, and people looking for a true RWD sports car that has lots of technology for a reasonable price (other than a vette), will be all over it. . .
Now, all Nissan has to do is make sure their build quality/realiability equal the cars performance. . .

I really don't like the way it looks. It doesn't really look as good as the old 300ZX line. Besides, it's not a convertible. As for performance, they're going to have a much bigger engine in it than our cars. I'm still amazed at all the technology in our cars.

I'm a diehard Z fan. Two 240's, a 280, and a 280ZX qualify me. I was dying for the new Z but the timing was bad. So I bought one of our beloved S2K's. But I'll probably be buying a new Z in the future.
