Default how would you start a new life?

I'm 25 years old, and I've worked my ass off in my youth to make/invest money. Lately, I've really felt the pressure of my time and how much $$$ my time is really worth. I worked my ass of at a young age to to buy a house, and now it's upside down like millions of other people. It doesn't bother me that my house is upside down in the short term. I bought my house knowing I can afford it. I gave up school along time ago and don't have a degree. I did go to college for two years though, so if I wanted to I can easily finish and financially put myself though school without a job. I've thought the same way so for so long that it's not natural to think outside the box. I've felt trapped or down lately with the current economic circumstances and considering how hard I've worked for years to ensure my financial success. There was nothing that I put before it, right down to my health...

...so I wondered that if I were able to walk away with $500K net in the near future...what could I do with it? one simple thought that made me happy was that I could sit on my ass for ten years and pretend I have a 50k a year job. Of course I have a life ahead of me still and that's prolly not my best bet...

So I would love to hear your ideas on where you'd go from here. I hope no one takes me the wrong way. I know a lot of people would be very happy to have this option. I am grateful for it, but it didn't come easy. In some ways I'll never know if it was really worth it.

25 is still young! If you're thinking about finishing school, now's the time to do it!

honestly, that's the kind of out of the box thinking I'm going for... like a small bar on an island somewhere or a seadoo rental place... this would work out perfect cuz I'm still single and no kids.

Exactly....research, research, research.

I think after you research, you will find it fits in-line with your criteria of a new life, so to speak. Glad I can be of service

I sure wish I had that option. I'm dying to get out of this country. Especially with the new "leadership" on the way.
