Someone might correct me on this but I think with the sharpness of their teeth and the amount of shock to your body you wouldn't be feeling a great deal anyway

I think that is correct also....but I would not want to put the theory to test.......I hope for the victim's sake that it was quick and painless.

Yeah, I hate but sometimes like it when sharks are in the news. The bad side is they make them out to be these crazy blood thirsty monsters that will get you as soon step in the water. but on the other hand it keeps the waves empty of tourists and kooks!

BTW did anyone watch that CBS movie last night "Spring Break Shark Attack" ?HAHA gheyest movie ever. It was soo funny, they kept calling them Tiger sharks, but everytime a shark was in the scene it was usually a great white, or random footage of sharks.

actually the teeth sever any sensory nerves in the area, and the sharp teeth cut the blood vessels cleanly. You'll hemmorage blood and go unconscious within seconds. It's not as bad as it sounds, though dying sucks I guess.

Isn't burning supposed to be the worst way to go? If you're lucky enough to go by smoke inhalation first it is supposed to be just like going to sleep but if you burn, you blister.... ok really don't want to think about that anymore

I watched open water a couple of weeks ago and I was really lost as to why someone would want to make a movie about that. It wasn't scary, just traumatic and disturbing and I really regretted watching it

One of my co-workers called me up one day to request a day off. Ends up his close neighbor's daughter was eaten by a crocodile on a family vaction in Africa. She was leaning over from a boat and the croc went for her. Talk about traumatic... it gave me the willies when I heard about it.

Later that evening I watched a brief story about it on the local news.
