Human or Dog? 16 Babies? WTF?

On a serious note, does anyone wonder what type of example momma is setting for all her girls? These children are all seeing their mom as a baby machine. Could be quite scary if all of them grew up w/ the mentality that a woman's goal in life should be to pop out as many kids as she can.
I personally think only children have a harder time in society, as they are raised as if they are the only one that matters. With no siblings to teach them sharing, cooperation, patience, and humility, single children can get a bit selfish, IMHO.
He has an awfully strong opinion. Little to no first-hand experience, of course, but a very strong opinion.
He assumes:
a) you can't raise a large number of kids properly
b) you have to give kids designer clothes and "modern" haircuts for them to be happy and "normal"
c) that he actually knows what God does and doesn't want
d) that the mother is physically ravaged from all of this
e) that the kids are already attention deprived
f) that being Christian is the equivalent of being homophobic and that being Christian, period, is a bad thing
I could go on and on but the guy is clearly seeing the world through a very narrow, short-sighted pair of glasses. He can't see past his own ego, his own opinion of "right" and "wrong", and his own biases and stereotypes.
I can't believe they printed it. He puts up strawman arguments left, right, and center, he paints with one of the widest brushes I've ever seen, and he's downright crude throughout the entire thing.
By the way, my aunt and uncle have 11 kids - she hasn't had labour longer than 2 hours and she doesn't really have birth pains. It's "easy" for her. All women aren't tight-crotched, narrow-hipped, "I can't have a baby because I might ruin my makeup" morons that he seems to prefer.
Judging from his writing, he's gay, an only child, an atheist, and thinks that he's got everything going for him.
Just kidding (sort of) but painting him like that is still less of a stretch than how he's painted that family.

Or, be a woman that has one kid, puts it with a babysitter (while she works) until it's 15, then lets it grow up on its own after that, merely seeing it from 6pm to bedtime (if she's lucky).
Yeah, I totally see your point. I'm glad you brought it up.
I kid, I kid, but that's kind of the way things are going these days. Forget about kids - just get a job and if (heaven forbid) you have a kid, let someone else take care of it. I think the world could use a lot more stay-at-home mothers that have the SOLE goal of being a mother and wife, not a "work away from home to bring in more money so we can own two big SUVs and a really nice house" kind of "mother".
I don't think it's usually financially feasible to have a dozen kids these days, but if you can afford it, I don't see what the problem is.
I guess this is some pretty sensational news to us peeps in the Bay Area. To raise just one child in the Bay Area costs $$$! Imagine 16. Some more interesting thoughts from this thread...

I have a couple co-workers with 8 or 9 kids. I don't get it, but it's what they do. They define life by procreation, I define life by driving fast and drinking heavily.
