actually, I've driven the h3 before, and its not a bad ride. there was a dealership selling an '06 for just under $21k.
its able to scale a 16" vertical wall, and it can forge up to 24" of water. plus, its still park-able, and the small wheelbase makes for good scaling.
as much as I love a car that handles well, there's something about the go-anywhere factor of a 4x4 that draws me in. it's what made me consider a jeep for a moment (and I would have gotten one if chrysler had nothing to do with them).

I do agree they are very comfortable and capable vehicles.
That H2 or 3 in the picture looks pretty good after its 18 wheeler incident
Definitly invincible!

The average Scion driver is in their early 20's? Probably for the tC, but I've seen one person EVER under the age of 40 driving an xB.
Evidently that was not clear enough.
From the quote in the OP:
"The study suggests such an attitude is unique to Hummer drivers and doesn't apply to everyone in an SUV, because the the Hummer was followed by the diminutive Scion tC and xB. People behind the wheel of those cars were 4.6 and 4.03 times, respectively, as likely to get tickets than the average driver. The researchers attributed that to the fact the average Scion driver is in his or her early 20s."
Hence my question regarding the validity of these statistics. I seem many people driving the tC that are in their 20's. I have only seen one person under the age of 40 ever driving an xB.
Evidently people in here aren't reading the entire article.
