HURRICANE CHARLIE
We HAD a 50-60 foot oak tree in out front yard--with about a 6 foot base. The storm knocked it over, thankfully it fell into the road, blocking traffic and completely covering my civic----unable to be seen. The s2000 and the grand cherokee were safe in the garage. We are still without power, so I have been in Altamonte Springs at some of my families house for the last few days helping the cleanup over there. Thankfully, there were not many fatalities and people that remain calm and patient can get through things like this. It takes between 30-hour to get gas, grocery stores have nothing in them, and it has been very hot outside. All I know is that Florida sucks ass without A.C.
was at Coronado Springs in Disney when Hurricane Charley rolled through. Was drunk off my @$$ and have a chipped tooth as a souvenir. Lots of downed trees blown over screenhouses, and torn apart roofs.
Went to the airport on Saturday (which reopened at 4pm) to find our 6:30pm flight was cancelled and couldn't get another until at least Tuesday on Southwest. rented a van and drove 20hours straight from Orlando to Portsmouth, NH with a three year old and a 10-month old. not good times.

My house in Winter Park was still without power as of yesterday as far as I know (don't live there). I lost all of my fencing and the screened enclosure around the pool but my house sustained no damage fortunately.
