I haven't done any real work since about mid-February. I come in for about 5 or so hours a day, surf the web, check the e-mail, post here and then I bail at lunch time. Come to find out the Satellite we are awaiting to process that was initially scheduled for a June arrival has now slipped all the way to April of 2002!!

I am soooooo bored. I have surfed every site there is to surf. I have played so much golf that my 3-iron and 5-iron are broken and I need to get them reshafted. All my household work is done, all the bills are paid, checkbook is balanced, Stook is spotlessly clean.

I even applied for grad school at UC Irvine this week just so I can get accepted and have something to do. I figure if Boeing will pay for my school and pay for me to sit at this desk and do my homework everyday I would be an idiot not to take advantage of it. I am not really hyped about grad school but I might as well grab the chance while I can.

Argh.......I have been on this site for 4 hours and 45 minutes so far today. Even reading the old ass archives.

Make the madness stop!

I AM living the movie "Office Space."

Damn that was fast!! Actually, I had submitted my resume to Boeing before. I have a few buddies that work in the Aerospace(which my company, Rockwell sold to) and the Government side. I'm a Sparky!

To answer 2 questions.

1) Yes I work at Sea Launch. I am the payload operations mechanical engineer. Technically I am a Boeing employee but I work at the Sea Launch facility. Boeing is a part owner of Sea Launch and a subcontractor to Sea Launch LLC.

2) I was a Rockwell minion (Downey and Seal Beach) until Boeing swallowed us up back in 1996.

We are in need of range engineers. RF, Helocopter pilot, Helicopter ops, S-Band, tracking, etc. If any of those sound like you then you to can live this exciting life.

I used to work a Panamsat. You have sent at least one of thier birds up and I think another is in the pipe. The launches are pretty cool to watch.
