I blew a gasket just now
The penguin replied, "No, it was just some ice cream."
. . . ahh crap. . . it was, "blew a gasket." Shit; wrong joke.
I do think questioning mingster's loyalty was pretty ridiculous though.
Typical maneuver, "If thou art a witch, then you shall burn in hell. If thou art not a witch, may you die a good Christian death."

i don't have a problem with his chi-comm comments, i do have a problem when someone takes a look at my username and my son's picture in my avatar and automatically assume:
1. i'm asian (which i am)
2. because of #1, i'm somehow less american than any other yanks here.
i've experienced enough racism in my life time to know when i'm being targeted because of my ancestry though i try to ignore them nowadays.
as for religion - you're right about my distrust of organized religion in general and a lot of it has to do with what has happened in the past decade, this is why i'm agnostic even though i grew up a mormon. BUT i don't question a catholic, mormon, hindu, or even a devil worshiper's allegiance & loyalty to our country.

My wife is Japanese and from Hawaii and had a couple relatives in the internment camps so she would have the same sensitivities.
I did not see that GP questioned your loyalties but may have missed that. I'd go back and read it but I'll just take your word for it cause I am bored with it already.
And blowing a gasket in the politcs forum seems to be what the politics forum is all about.
Meh while GPM can be a dick and an antagonist, he does bring up good points from time to time... but for whatever beef he has with the other member, im stay outta that totally.
