im not going to debate the morality of theft...its just the idea of someone sneaking around...jumping fences.....to get a damn hot dog. If you think im an asshole because I think it is completely hilarious that someone would go through so much trouble for a hot dog then go right ahead.
personally I think its more of being an asshole to go around calling other people assholes for doing something, while notably stupid not that harmful....its not as if when he took the car he didnt worry he isnt now scared of the consequences as he should.....something tells me hes not going to go steal a car again so what is the big deal?
lets look at what happened..... he made a mistake, no one was hurt from that mistake, he realized he made a mistake. end of story in my book

see, it's not about the hotdogs bro. it's about stealing. if you start making petty theft ok, well then, where do you draw the line? at a hotdog? how about something that costs a few bucks? or maybe somebody's CD? or a CD player? where do you draw the line?
how about drawing the line at theft. don't steal. ever. it's not yours to take. no matter how creatively one steals something, it's theft, it's not funny, and shouldn't be supported.
now that "something" that tells you that Christople isn't going to do this again is probably right. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, that this was just a total brain-fart, and now he realizes that he could've ended up in prison. but ya know what, he knew it was wrong when he did it, else why did he sneak in? why was he so aware of the cameras? and as gingerly as he might've put those miles on the odometer, that's not his car to rack up miles on. do you get what I'm saying?
the hotdog wasn't for your friend to eat. the car wasn't for Christople to take for a joy ride.
now, the fact that you can find amusement in petty theft leads me to believe, perhaps incorrectly, that you yourself have no problem with petty theft. so where do you draw the line? at a hotdog? something more expensive? or is there some correlation between what you're allowed to steal and how amusingly you steal it?
so ok, I take back the asshole name calling. calling people names isn't nice, and certainly isn't constructive. I'm just trying to get across to you to please... don't take any pride or joy out of stealing, whether it's commited by you, a friend, or a stranger. because at the other end of that theft is somebody who had something taken from them. and that's never fun. ever.
$.02
you see a car with the top down, keys in the car, windows down and say "i think i will borrow it for a little while"
I have 3 words for you: Balls of steel
your a silly man though..................lol you take a car thats not yours cause the keys are there.

Yeah, I lost sleep last night. I told two close friends of mine what happened. They said I shouldn't worry about it because they know other people that have done it before. That S2000 is a used one, let's hope they sell it quick so I don't have to worry.
