I know that you organise local meetings, special races, events etc. Here this is almost impossible. Sorry for the newbie question, but what exactly happens during an event. Do you visit local tracks in groups. I've seen some videos of variable cars (s2k's, civic's, integras) cruising on the highways. Some times over 60 cars.

hmmm...well here in atlanta, we do mountain drives, cruise around the city, local racing events we also do the dragon in N. Carolina and we meet S2k owners from all over. Im sorry you do not get to participate in these functions. Be a pioneer and start it up in your area!

 

yes, be the one to organize the meets out there. start out small by having a meet at a local hangout or eatery. get some folks together to chat about cars over some good food. maybe get in a small group drive afterwards. or have a small tech day to clear headlights or install some new parts for someone. people will usually come by and help if there's a free beer or free food in it for them. it's a great way to meet the people in your area.

 

we used to do a Zaino day here for the Atlanta folks which essentially everyone just gets together to wash cars drink beer and socialize.

 

Envy us in the summer and pity us in the winter. Already I am board out of my mind, craving top down, high speed , twisting and turning outings and its not even officially winter yet!

Yo SOC that sucks man. I attended my first meets this summer. I met alot of great guys and made some strong friendships. Our local meets usually consist of:

Meeting/Hanging out -----> Group Drive -----> Then dinner at Hooters, or anyother place we can get into.

Our biggest meet in the Chicago Area was 22 cars over the summer. Usually theres about 8 to 9 of us that meet up almost every month.

 

Spring is coming Shift, we gotta hang in there.
