Happened to me so many times. Oh well, shit happens I guess. Sorry it happened to you though. It does ruin your day.

I've had my cars stolen from/ broken into 6 times that I can remember off hand. Most of these from my driveway or even my garage in a neighborhood where we rarely locked our home doors at night.

 

Watch The Strangers and you'll be locking your doors more often.

 

i had my jeep gone through a couple months ago....the took everything out of my center console and spread it all over the place... but they didn't take my digital camera that was in there....don't know what they wanted. crappy feeling though.....

i made sure that nothing with personal info was taken....

 

I try to not leave anything in the car ... even my insurance paper, because it has my name, address, etc on it.

 

i had the my window shot out and then the rims stole off my civic,..i feel your pain. eff the thieves

 

ill never understand why people put the VALUABLE cars on the driveway, and keep their WORTHLESS junk in the garage...

 

My S was in the garage! But yeah, my neighbor just informed me that her 5 series BMW was vandalized last night! WTF! Some one threw acid on her car and melted the paint. Her husband had their old truck in the garage. Boy was she pissed! My friend and I were thinking of hiding in the bushes one night to see if we can catch these clowns. If we do... oh man are they going to get a beat down...Then we'll turn them in. That police report I did was no help. My neighbor told me she called the police station and they said they would call her right back...it has been 5 hours!

 

this subject matter always makes me mad.

 

So yesterday evening I go to my neighbor's house to check out her car. I guess she was not the only one that got hit by the Vandals two nights ago. There were 19 other cars that got this paint remover stuff sprayed onto their cars as well. We were all thinking it could be some idiot kids now that school is out that have nothing better to do. Last night I spent 4 hours clearing out my garage so I could fit both cars in. The police officer that arrived said that since we live in a good neighborhood we are target for this type of stuff...ugh.
