What county did you get the ticket in?

In Washington county, you can go to the courthouse office any time before your trial date if you are pleading guilty or no contest. They have a set of equations on what your fine will get reduced to based on your driving record. I'd assume they will also put in the default bail based on the amount over the limit you were doing, and go from there. I think there is a phone number on the back of the ticket you can call to get definitive answers.

It might also help to call a traffic lawyer, and hear what they might have to say about it. They may have ways to ensure the "low end" gets assigned instead of the "high end" (if there is a range). I bet they can tell you most of what you need to know over the phone, for free.

If you got the ticket in Clackamas or Multnomah county, the procedure is similar. It's just been a while since I've been caught "infracting the law" in those counties

If you live in some other remote county, well, I have no idea.

You'll probably have to go to the Oregon City Courthouse for the hearing. Back in the day, I had to go pay a ticket there. IIRC, I just went up to a window, plead guilty, and paid whatever they told me (it was less than the amount on the ticket).

I think it was for like 16 over the limit, and was for like $300 lowered to $100.

30 over though man, you may be fvcked. You may seriously want to get a laywer. I would definitly call the courthouse (# should be on ticket) and find out how that number gets filled in.

My buddy got a Wreckless Driving near the coast for 90 in a 55.

if your state is anything like North Carolina I would recommend you get a lawyer.
