OK, now I am confused.
How do you save your GT2 info without a PSX mem card?
I have both types (PSX,PS2) mem cards and have the use
the PSX to save GT2 stuff. I didn't know there was a difference between PSX and PS1.
Sorry I am new to consoles.

And just think they are going to make a console , the

I saved GT2 stuff ion PSX memory cards.
However, none of the PS2 games would use PSX memory cards.
They all say memory card not detected.
How did you use your PSX memory cards for PS2??
I just ordered a few of those expensive 8 MB cards for PS2 because of it.

XBox.....in a car game, as you shift into 3rd, you get a dialog that says "General Protection Fault".

A moment of silence please. . . . . . Sega Dreamcast has been pronounced dead. They will clear out remaining consoles at a bargain $99- per unit. I saw this one coming because they released a few too many duds for games and Playstation is the Goliath they couldn't quite slay. At least a few, hopefully deserving, dreamcast games will now make it to the PS2. Dreamcast has been kind to racing type games, so expect some good ports. Anyways, onto PS2 for me now. Anyone know if March is the official "release date"?

What do you mean re-release?
Haven't they been cranking out 50,000 units a week or something like that?

 

Sony plans to bring in another 2 million units in March. That is why they are calling it a re-release. Hell if you check techbargains.com enough you will find one somewhere during the day.

I ordered one from Amazon this week - they went on sale around noon and by 2 they were gone. Anyway, after clicking all day on tha Amazon web site and feeling great after getting one (should arrive Monday!), a friend tells me that kbkids.com has had them for quite a while and they still do!

Anyway, mine's coming with NFL, NHL and the Snowboarding deal, I'm taking the NFL and NHL to Toys R Us and getting some action stuff - any recommendations for a 10 yr and 7 yr old kids?
